ABOUT TEAMARCHIE

teamArchie is a charitable foundation set up in memory of Archie Lloyd, a young man who tragically died in 2015, aged 18, whilst travelling with friends.  teamArchie works with partners and other charities to set up unique opportunities through programmes and bursaries. The charity awards bursaries to create opportunities for young people to make the most of their lives and of themselves. It aims to swing the pendulum of opportunity in favour of those who really want to be the best that they can be and have proved that they have the desire but cannot get the necessary support they need to make it happen.  These young people are mentored and assisted through programmes which may involve coaching, adventure training, language or other qualifications and possibly overseas travel.

Win a chance to see a private rehearsal of The Red Shoes

New Adventures, the iconic and ground-breaking British dance-theatre company has very kindly offered up the chance to sit in on a rehearsal of their new production; The Red Shoes. They will be mid-way through rehearsals so you will be right in the middle of the action. This prize can be taken either the week commencing 28th October or 4th November. Specific timings will be confirmed a few weeks beforehand and rehearsals will either be at 3 Mills Studios, London E3 or at the English National Ballet near Stratford.

About The Red Shoes

A sell-out before its world premiere season opened in 2016, Matthew Bourne’s triumphant adaptation of the legendary film returns in 2019, having won two Olivier Awards and dazzled audiences across the UK and the USA.

The Red Shoes is a tale of obsession, possession and one girl's dream to be the greatest dancer in the world. Victoria Page lives to dance but her ambitions become a battleground between the two men who inspire her passion.

Set to the achingly romantic music of golden-age Hollywood composer Bernard Herrmann, The Red Shoes is orchestrated by Terry Davies and played by the New Adventures Orchestra, with cinematic designs by Lez Brotherston.
